MONOCHROME sought out to create a candle that smelled amazing but used natural products. So many candles are made with synthetic fragrance and waxes that while they may smell good, they aren’t necessarily good for you.

We start out with soy wax, which is a wax derived from soybeans. Soy wax burns with zero petro-carbon soot, giving you a clean and natural burn. To ensure the clean burn, we also use lead-free cotton wicks.

We then add essential oils to our wax. Essential oils are concentrated extracts from potentially beneficial plants. We also add phthalate-free fragrance oils to enhance the aroma.

Finally, our candles are made in small batches, where we hand-pour each candle after methodically calculating the proper melting and pouring temperature as well as adding the perfect percentage of fragrance. All of this in combination, creates a candle promised to burn to perfection and fill your space with a luxurious scent.
